Creative Breadcrumbs #2
Part 2, A creative sponge
In 2010 I finished my bachelor and moved back to my old town, where I landed a job as a graphic designer at a design firm. Even though the work was interesting, and right up in my alley, I felt like doing something more. So I kept on drawing after work.

I stayed in Fagernes, Valdres doing graphic design for a total of 4 years, before moving to the Netherlands. I then worked 2 more years as a freelance designer in Rotterdam, before having enough of clients using my creativity for manipulating people into buying things they probably don’t need. Or as Bill Hicks would say, if you work in marketing, just do us all a favor and kill yourself. That’s how I felt about it.
That’s when I realized how lucky I was to be still drawing on my own art in my spare time. At least I had something tangible that were my own. To be continued…
